Job Description

As a Senior Android Engineer on the Banno Platform at Jack Henry, you’ll get the chance to make a real, positive impact on people’s lives. Our mission is to give people the best possible experience they can have with their finances. We’re doing this by reimagining the digital presence of financial institutions and building products that empower and delight their users.

The Android Mobile Application Developer works on our mobile banking apps in close cooperation with our product, design, and API teams. Android engineers are constantly keeping our app up-to-date with the newest development practices to offer exciting user experiences for highly secured data.

Skills & Requirements

A general love of and drive for solving problems with programming. Minimum of six years of programming experience, any language.
Undeniable passion for the Android platform. Minimum of 3 years of production Android app development experience.
Strong knowledge of Android components and Material design principles, patterns and best practices.
Must have experience with modern Android build systems, like Gradle or Buck.
Experience with some variety of testing frameworks in Android, such as Espresso or Robolectric.
Prior mentor experience and having the ability to help foster a fantastic engineering culture is preferred.
