Join our friendly, fun and hard-working team of developers in our central London office (positions will be opening up soon in our San Francisco office), working on our core platform, as well as a variety of client-facing projects that integrate with the platform.
As a software engineer, you will be involved in a range of things:
* Collaboratively solving technical challenges
* Coding (...obviously)
* Optimization, scaling, maintenance and bug-fixing (wohoo!)
* Research and development
* Freedom to work on your own personal projects
Skills & requirements
What you bring to the table:
* You must be a fast learner who is open-minded and interested in new things
* The ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions
* A strong competency with PHP (whilst being largely language-agnostic), MVC, MySQL, and Git, along and familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript, REST, NoSQL and Cloud Computing
* A Computer Science related degree (including Software Engineering) or 4+ years commercial experience
About the company
idio is a marketing technology company. We have a core technology, and on top of this we build web, mobile and social apps to help clients talk to their customers. Recent award-winning projects include some really cool digital personalized magazines for consumer brands like Slim.Fast and Guinness, as well as specialized social monitoring dashboards for the likes of Metro Newspaper.
We are a close-knit team, working across three locations.
