Your tasks and responsibilities
As a full time developer you will work in Team Mobile, part of the Digital Growth Center at Dansk Supermarked's HQ based in Årslev in Århus, Denmark.
- Develop and maintain our Android apps in top shape on a day-to-day basis
- Review code and ensure quality in our externally developed projects, as well as guiding external developers
- Advise projects on technical requirements, solutions and architecture
- Manage your own tasks and deadlines
- Keep on top of the latest developments in the Android world
- Be mindful of security and privacy both for our business and our users
- Balance great code quality with business realities and timelines
- Take pride and ownership in your work
Requirements
- 2 apps published on Play Store
- High fluency in Java, with focus on efficiency and clean architecture
- In-depth knowledge of everything Android (APIs, packaging, submission etc.)
- Experience with consuming REST APIs
- Debugging and profiling skills
- Git knowledge (branching & merging, Git Flow)
- Excellent technical documentation skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Friendly attitude and willingness to listen to the needs of our customers (both internal and external)
Bonus points for experience with any of the following:
- Web frontend and backend development (Angular, Ember, node.js, Firebase, AWS etc.)
- Task management software (JIRA or similar)
- Mobile payments
- Knowledge/experience with BLE, NFC, GeoLocation, IoT
