PHP Developer

This unique company empowers researchers to explore and deliver more efficient drug‑discovery programs. They are a supply‑chain and procurement organization for scientists  and researchers, and are currently rebuilding their eCommerce environment.  They are expanding the software  development team with an experienced PHP Symfony Developer.   The rebuild includes moving the infrastructure stack to the cloud while developing on dynamic and new 3rd‑party software systems. The newly selected eCommerce environment is based on a PHP Web application that uses the Symfony framework along with Doctrine and PostgreSQL. 

Seeking a developer that can extend & enhance the functionality of the 3rd‑party eCommerce platform while also undertaking additional exciting new software development projects.  

Required Job Experience 

● Programming: MUST HAVE PHP (Symfony Framework) and JavaScript experience and be able to help mentor others in Symfony

● Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field 

● 3‑4 years of hands‑on software development experience 

● Database: SQL and Postgres 

● Full stack development, infrastructure, and database structure 

● eCommerce experience preferred: EDI, Punch‑out, and OroCommerce
