Senior Software Developer

HazelTree Fund Services, one of New York's fastest growing hedge fund technology companies seeks a strong, motivated Software Developer to join our team as a Senior Software Developer to maintain and create applications for HazelTree’s growing product line. The successful applicant will get to enhance their own foundation within the industry and mold with this young company as it continues to grow.

Job Description:

• Work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Customize / Extend ASP MVC application.
• Customize / Extend multithreaded WPF application.
• Develop new functionality on our existing software products.
• Work on multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Report to the company’s Chief Technology Officer
• Assist/mentor less experienced developers 
• Interaction with the client support process
• Experience with App development for mobile devices a plus

Required Skills:

• 5-7 years of software industry experience
• 5 (+)years of strong development experience in C# 
• 5 (+)years of strong development experience in ASP.NET
• Ability to handle code writing Jquery, JavaScript, Ajax code, CSS
• MS SQL Server (T-SQL)
• SQL Server Reporting Services
• Source control: Seapine Surround, MS Team Foundation, Subversion or equivalent
• Strong Communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Geneva RSL
• Experience with WCF or other network programming skills
• Expertise in software development
• Multithreaded windows applications, WPF preferred.
• Link to SQL or Entity Framework

This is a hands-on role working with other senior developers - you must enjoy writing code and working in a team-based, interactive environment.
