We design world's first Remote Monitoring solution for gas leaks in the chemical industry.

Remote Monitoring is the approach for chemical analysis and tracking of hazard gas clouds using infrared optical technology. Invisible and toxic gases can be detected in real-time from kilometers distance. We are the first to bring this revolutionary monitoring approach to the chemical industries.

Grandperspective was founded in 2018 by remote sensing experts with vast experience in measurement system development and application to develop a unique early warning system. Our design is based on our years-long experience from cooperation with customers and operators (e.g. first responders protecting the G20 summit).

Throughout the development phase we cooperate with internationally renowned project partners in the chemical industry.

We want

We are looking for people who want to take over responsibility, don’t hesitate to dive into new tasks and come up with own ideas.

• 5+ years of experience in Python 3 development
• Ability to write maintainable and production-ready code, practical experience writing unit and integration tests
• Knowledge in at least two of the following topics: sqlalchemy / docker / ansible / micro services with FastAPI / Linux /RabitMQ
• Open-minded team player with a passion for agile software development and maintainable code
• Good communication skills, fluent English

Nice to have

• Practical DevOps Experience is a plus. We use GitHub Actions, Ansible and Docker Compose. More to come!
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Service like AWS or GCP
• Experience in the field of Remote Sensing, Infrared Spectroscopy or Gas Analysis
