Senior Developer

Your Mission

We are looking for Senior developers to join our cross-functional teams which are organized by product line. With a focus on end-to-end ownership and building consumer-centric products that define the future of our company, you will have the opportunity to have an outsized impact on the success of the product. • Put Customers First: We expect that you as a Senior Developer (m/f/d)will bring delightful user interactions to life by writing robust and well-tested React.js components, and/or writing and exposing APIs via serverless microservice architecture with cutting edge technologies such as Lambda Functions using Node.js, REST & GraphQL
• Explore the Unknown: We expect that you feel comfortable to break down larger stories into achievable slices and self-organize the implementation, even if it requires diving into unknown code territory or new services
• Take Ownership: Regardless of your specialty you will get involved in the architecture, development and operation of these services; end-to-end ownership means orchestrating implementation of complex features spanning across multiple service
• Strive for Excellence: Be prepared to continuously level up our code quality by regularly analyzing technical bottlenecks, increasing re-usability, and improving abstraction for greater robustness; we use Javascript/Typescript as the main stack, but we are not limited to that. Our moto is to use the right tool for the job, and that is the reason why we have services in Python & GoLang as well
• Empower Each Other: Overall we value cross-functional teams, and that is why we focus on mentoring, pair programing & knowledge sharing with each-other so that we always move forward together as a team

Your Profile

• Experience: Profound experience in your technical discipline, typically this means deep knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: JavaScript, Typescript, REST, GraphQL, SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, AWS, Lambda Functions, React.js, React Hooks, CSS, browser APIs and the DOM
• Mindset: You combine thoughtfulness with pragmatism and a passion to get things done regardless if that means you take on some of the mundane but necessary tasks to help the team deliver
• Skillset/Technique: Attention to clean, scalable & well-tested code by applying TDD; experience with micro-service architecture is a plus
