Front-End Developer

This Front-End Developer has proven experience creating client-side code for email campaigns, microsites, landing pages, websites, and mobile applications. He will have a deep knowledge of CSS, HTML5, and Javascript and have the ability to learn new technologies and demonstrate the capacity to grow technically. The initial focus of this position will be overseeing and managing email development, list management and deployment through ExactTarget.

 • Writing clean, compliant and accessible markup, ensuring that code is cross-browser and cross-platform compatible
• Collaborating with the creative team to ensure that site designs are optimized for practical development solutions
• Slicing and optimizing graphics for UI development
• Developing HTML emails that are optimized for various email clients (understanding their inherent limitations)
• Developing the UI for landing pages, microsites, and websites
• Developing for a mobile environment using media queries and responsive design
• Developing basic social media applications and understanding their platforms (including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter)
• Working closely with Project Managers and other members of the Development group to define clear project deliverables and timelines and to ensure timely completion of deliverables
• Managing email list pulls and deploying emails within the Exact Target environment
• Integrating third-party data feeds, tools and social networking platforms with front-end UI
• Reviewing all front-end code for quality assurance
• Researching and prototyping front-end technologies and championing to the agency
