Skills & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver product features as per release schedule and quality expectations.
- Enhance efficiency of development process – develop tools, frameworks as required.
- Participate in the full life-cycle development process from product definition, through design, development, test, release and maintenance.
- Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven ability to proactively identify, analyze, recommend and/or implement solutions for problems
- Assists the development team in implementing technical designs, standards and processes, as well as provides mentoring and assistance in technical matters and issues.
- Provides advanced knowledge of currently implemented technologies
- Researches/recommends new and emerging technologies
- Identify risks an issues during planning
- Desire to contribute to our culture and help shape our practices
Technical Qualifications:
Must have strong working knowledge and 2+ years technical experience designing/architecting cross platform web projects
- Comfortable working on a team as well as working autonomously
- Great experience in OOP and MVC
- Experience developing web applications using HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with SASS, LESS, or AngularJS is nice to have
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript in multiple browsers and in a server environment
- Knowledge of GIT and working with Github
- Comfortable with Python, Capistrano, Node.js and ngnix.
- Working experience with LAMP based applications
- Willing to learn and adapt new technologies
- Experience with various mobile and tablet platforms (iPad/iPhone, Android, etc.)
