You will, among other things:
- apply front-end web, Java, database and Linux skills and have an immediate, noticeable impact on the company’s products and customers.
- perform unprecedented heroics in architecture and scalability, helping the engineering team grow the company’s software offerings to support a rapidly increasing customer-base.
- collaborate with product managers to comprehend and prioritize customer feature requests.
Skills & requirements
You must:
- have at least four years professional Java web application development experience using a modern MVC framework (e.g. Struts, Spring, etc.) and related web technologies (e.g. AJAX, HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- possess advanced SQL/relational database skills; PostgreSQL experience is a plus.
- have expertise implementing and using asynchronous processing frameworks and technologies (e.g. JMS) like Active MQ.
- be a creative, innovative thinker with a proven track record of turning insight into action.
- utilize excellent verbal and written English skills.
- have an awesome sense of humor.
