Front End Web Developer

Front end developer with a good eye for web design. 

We’re looking for talented individuals to complement our busy, creative London studio. If you live and breathe web design and development, if you’re a sucker for sexy UIs and like to use the latest HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery techniques, if you’re self-motivated, comfortable seeing a project through from initial brief to completion, and can project manage and deal with clients, then you could be just the person we’re looking for.

Our ideal candidate will be a web developer with an eye for design and detail who is as comfortable designing a site as they are building it, and also be able to implement other people’s designs in a pixel perfect fashion. Most of our sites are built on WordPress, so a sound knowledge of WordPress custom theming would definitely be a plus (we’re open to you introducing us to other CMS’ though). We’re also interested in someone with more of a design bias who can create gorgeous layouts and interfaces and communicate with and work effectively with a developer.

• Solid Adobe Creative Suite knowledge
• Ideally a design background, but an eye for design/detail is a must
• Beautifully crafted HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript/jQuery
• Ability to learn from and teach your new colleagues
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• A good understanding of user interfaces, usability and accessibility
• Effective oral and written English communication skills
• Awesome tea maker

Here are the key responsibilities of the role:

• Project management, strategy and client liaison
• Front-end design and development
• Full site build and implementation (bespoke WordPress theming, or your CMS of choice)
• Work directly with other developers on outsourced projects
