Tasks

• Implement automated testcases for API and/or GUI testing
• Develop your test architectures and procedures
• Decide how the product functions should be tested
• Build your continuous integration testing systems
• Play an important part of the continuous delivery process of the product
• Work closely together with software developers
• Exchange your testing strategies with your SW-colleagues
• Identify, understand and mitigate risks

Skillset

• Passion for software quality and test automation
• Good programming skills
• Higher Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Knowledge in any test automation tools for API, GUI or system testing (g. SOAPUI, Robotframework, ReadyAPI, Karate,...)
• DB and SQL knowledge (Oracle would be perfect)
• Capability to break down use cases into automatable test cases
• Keeping an eye on the essentials
• Analytic thinking and ability to take actions based on the findings
• Ability to think outside the box and one step ahead
• Good communication skills in English (German appreciated)
• Ability to describe a bug in a pregnant and easy way
