Senior IoT Software Engineer (M/W/D/) Python, C++

Thereby we focus on a modular powerful DC Charger with a dead easy user experience. In our lab in Munich we develop the overall product with appealing design, reliable electronics and IoT connected cutting edge software.

What you will do:

• As a Senior IoT Software Developer you are an active part of our agile product development team
• You will develop innovative functional software in Python and C++ for payment, charge controllers, backend connectivity, metering and security
• As an all-rounder, you will work with a variety of modern software technologies and expand our tech stack
• You will ensure the quality of your code through continuous automated testing as well as testing on the real system
• As a maintainer you will take technical responsibility for repositories by managing releases and delivery and driving the architecture forward
• You perform code reviews and pass on your knowledge to other developers
• You actively shape our product by specifying technical requirements of our user stories

What we need to see:

• You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification with 3+ years of professional work experience in software development
• You have strong programming skills in Python and C++ and are used to working on Linux systems
• You are not a "one trick pony" and show willingness to deal with new technologies
• Coding is your passion and you are familiar with testing, CI/CD, Terminal and Git
• You enjoy working in an agile team and appreciate an open error culture
• You have a dedicated, independent way of working and enjoy dealing with complex, technical issues
• Convince us with your confident German and English skills

• You are familiar with ARM architecture
• You have experience with M2M communication protocols (MQTT, WebSocket, TCP/IP)
• You can score with work experience in the area of charging or power electronics
• You show us your private Git repo with relevant projects
• You have knowledge in IT-Security
