Full-stack Developer

About the role / what you’ll do

Our teams are working towards making SBAB an awesome digital bank and we are looking for full-stack developers who want to join our teams in this amazing journey. You will have ownership of the product and creative freedom to solve your tasks together with your teammates.

As a part of our team, you will be an important player in solving our team’s challenges, deciding the way forward both technically and work-wise.

What will you work on?

The team members in our development teams work as full-stack developers with leading-edge technologies and frameworks mainly based on Java. Working as a full-stack developer provides a great possibility for learning and personal development. Skills as development (frontend and backend), test, and deployment are combined in the teams. Our teams focus on one product area each and have a product owner who prioritizes the backlog. The teams are driving architectural and technical decisions as well as being involved in how solutions are designed.

✅ Working with different extreme programming practices, such as TDD, pair-programming, mob programming, and anything else that you want to try.

✅ Creating solutions for new features and improve our current codebase.

✅ Participating in team decisions regarding the product, features, architecture, and business goals.

✅ Learning and sharing knowledge not only with the team but with the entire organization.

✅ Our tech stack which follows the latest developments - Java 12+, Kafka, React JS, Spring Boot, Dropwizard, Docker, etc

You are a team player who enjoys turning great ideas into features and knows how to balance quality and delivery. You like to leave your comfort zone to work on different technologies and are eager to learn things out of your expertise. You have a skill set that makes a difference to accomplish our shared goals. We think that you are experienced in our Tech stack (or parts of it) and well familiar with agile methodologies - e.g. Scrum, Kanban.
