iOS Mobile Developer

Wawa, PA

Responsible for the coding, testing, implementation and supporting Wawa’s customer and associate based iOS mobile applications.

Principle Duties:

1.       Translate complex customer requirements into detailed technical specifications.

2.       Develop mobile iOS solutions that satisfy business requirements, and meet business requirements/needs.

3.       Develop test plans and complete unit of code prior to implementation.

4.       Work with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain Wawa’s iOS Mobile Application(s).

5.       Develop and deploy iOS Mobile Applications via public and private channels.

6.       Stay current in mobile applications standards and guidelines.

7.       Create and maintain business relationships with internal business partners, vendors and project teams.

8.       Work within Wawa’s change control and release management strategies to ensure that all quality assurance testing is complete and that the business is informed and aligned to the process.

What you’ll need to be successful:

1.       Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred

2.       Minimum of 5 years of technical experience

3.       Knowledge of consumer mobility technology trends, platforms and support requirements.

4.       Demonstrated experience developing mobile apps that leverage web services

5.       Successful experiences collaborating well with others in cross functional team

6.       Passionate communicator, effective through influence and highly adept at challenging and enhancing ideas while preserving relationships 

7.       At least one publicly available application in the iTune App Store

8.       Strong working knowledge of object orientated languages (Java, C++, Objective –C, C# or similar)

9.       Experience working with and developing RESTful APIs, using HTTP, JSON, XML, and SOAP

10.     High degree of professionalism and confidentiality

11.     Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment

12.     Strong understanding of the Agile Software Development Methodology
