Frontend Engineer (m/w/d)

Help us build a great Tech Company As a front-end developer at QuantCo, you will work together with our data scientists and machine learning engineers to architect user interfaces with matching backend services to provide transparency to our data solutions. You will work together with your colleagues on selecting an informative representation of both input data and machine learning results in order to turn the typical machine learning black box into an insightful process for all stakeholders. Furthermore, you will build tools to enable people to turn machine learning insights into decisions and actions.

We are looking for team players with an entrepreneurial mindset that bring:

• Ability to write clean, effective, and production-ready code
• Hands-on experience in the industry, ideally in data-heavy and customer-facing production environments
• Proficiency with programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages
• Expertise in at least one popular web frontend framework, React is preferred
• The mindset “you build it, you run it”. Taking care of testing, deploying, and monitoring your code
• Extensive experience with at least one popular DBMS. Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server/T-SQL, Snowflake, BigQuery is an advantage
• Experience in UX design is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make smart decisions with minimal supervision
• Adaptability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams of technical and non-technical individuals with different cultural backgrounds
• Business proficiency in English, conversational proficiency in German is an asset but is not required
• Willingness to travel

Compensation and Location We are looking for exceptionally motivated and skilled individuals and will, therefore, offer a highly competitive compensation package. The work location is mainly Karlsruhe, but partial remote work with regular commute to Karlsruhe is possible.
