Tech Lead Engineering Manager, Business Integrity

About The Team

TikTok Business Integrity team is at the core to power monetization drive for Bytedance on a global scale. The team is made of talented software engineers and product managers from all over the world. We build the foundation to safeguard our advisement platform and use the most advanced technologies to bring most values to our business partners as well as users. In Singapore, we focus on two pillars of business integrity: data foundation and advertiser experience.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the engineering team to work with product managers and formulate the product requirement into engineering solutions
2. Build data solutions or web applications in areas of advertiser experience, risk control and data infrastructure for machine learning
3. Collaborate with internal business partners including but not limited to strategy, policy, sales and operation team
4. Perform quality control for engineering deliveries in terms of design and execution
5. Communicate with the team to drive decision making and help the team to succeed in a rapidly growing and evolving organization

Qualifications

1. B. Sc or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields from accredited and reputable institutions
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience and at least 1 year of technical leadership experience
3. Familiarity with at least one of the programming languages: Go, Python or Java
4. Pragmatic understanding of data structure, algorithm design and analysis, networking, data security and distributed system
5. Excellent at verbal communication and writing in English

Preferred

1. In-depth understanding of one of the following domains: ad fraud detection, risk control, quality control, business integrity, and online advertising systems
2. In-depth knowledge of one of the following areas: machine learning/deep learning (NLP or Computer Vision), backend, distributed systems, data, and full-stack
