As our Head of Platform Tooling, you are responsible for the success of the entire backend engineering department by building the best experience for the software development lifecycle in the CI/CD, Environments and Automation. You will lead and develop a team of talented DevOps engineers and report to our VP of Platform Engineering.

YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE BY:

• Leading, coaching and inspiring a team of 5 DevOps Engineers
• Encouraging a learning and knowledge-sharing environment, while also considering the company’s needs
• Taking ownership of our backend platform and software delivery process
• Fostering innovation and driving adoption of new technologies and process in the software development lifecycle
• Ensuring engineering best practices are followed and improved over time
• Working with colleagues to identify opportunities or needs for alignments
• Managing salaries and the team’s learning & development budget
• Attracting and hiring new talents for your team

WHAT MAKES YOU THE RIGHT MATCH:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on DevOps and software delivery lifecycle
• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring experts and teams
• Empathetic, people-centered mindset and a passion for leadership
• Proactive attitude to improve processes as well as driving collaboration and team maturity
• An agile mindset, experimenting in small iterations before designing big solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and creating an understanding of technical needs and investments
• Openness to feedback and interest in working in a multicultural environment
• Preferably, a degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
• Excellent English skills
