Skills & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Developing highly interactive, dynamic, scalable web sites and web applications
- Integration of .NET based CMS systems (Sitecore, Kentico)
- Designing and developing custom applications to support a variety of web initiatives
- Building custom user controls to achieve project requirements
- Building and extending relational databases and associated objects to support applications
- Staying ahead of current trends and helping to define future ones
- Serve as technical lead on complex digital projects, sourcing project requirements and coding applications to specifications within scope and timeline
- Provide coverage for the VP of Technology, when needed
- Directly manage a manage team of .NET developers to successfully deliver projects that meet client satisfaction, budget, and work quality targets
- Assign .NET team workload, and monitor team utilization, and productivity
- Ensure .NET developers are adhering to coding standards and best practices on projects
- Oversee technical management of offshore development resources on projects
- Serve as point of escalation to .NET developers in solving technology issues on projects
- Collaborate with VP of Technology to implement development best practices within the .NET team
- Participate in weekly development team meetings and agency resource planning meetings
- Participate in presales efforts, such as prospect presentations and project estimating, as needed
