Job Summary
A Senior PHP Web Developer who takes pride in good code and loves new technologies. You should feel comfortable gathering requirements from stakeholders, designing solutions, and managing your own work. Most of all, you should be excited to continually hone your skills during our regular hack days and learning sessions.
Essential Job Functions
- Creating new ecommerce websites built on Magento
- Helping us build the next versions of our internal mission-critical apps
- Extending our service-oriented architecture
- Maintaining existing marketing and corporate websites
- Supporting end-users
- Providing technical advice on projects
Skills & requirements
5+ years of experience with PHP
2+ years of experience with databases (designing, programming, tuning)
A solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming
Highly skilled in HTML, XML, JSON, JavaScript, CSS
Experience with cross-browser development
An understanding of how the web works
Preferred Skills
- Magento
- MVC
- Unit testing
- Zend framework
- Source control (Git preferred)
- Agile software development
- Integrating CRMs and ERPs
