Software Engineer

Spectrum Systems, Inc. is seeking skilled software engineer with experience in object oriented design and architecture using SOLID principles in a continuous integration environment.  The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing complex, multi-layered systems in a mission-critical environment.  This position will be application development, database design and development, user interface design and development, build and release engineering, and maintenance.  The ideal candidate will have a broad skillset with extensive experience in the .NET environment and framework.  This is a permanent, full-time position with extensive benefits located in Pensacola, FL.  US Citizenship required and the candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug screenings.  Travel between 0-10%.

What will I be working on? We use the latest technologies and development tools available.  You'll be able to chose your cutting-edge hardware, and will develop in Visual Studio 2013 or greater.  You'll be working on new development in a full .NET stack.  Everything from database to mid-tier, to UI design.  You'll be joining a motivated team of developers.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5+ years experience .NET, C# experience
• 5+ years database (SQL) experience
• WCF, WPF, MVVM, SOA
• Multi-threading & TPL
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile principles

Preferred:

• Master’s degree or higher
• SQL Server, SSRS

• T-SQL
• Design and Architect experience
• Security and Network experience
• Industrial background (Modbus, PI, OPC)
