Web Developer

Overview:

The Web Developer will be responsible for assisting the Senior Developer with the production, modification, and maintenance of the Company's websites, backend production systems, and support tickets. This individual should possess excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, and exhibit strong attention to detail. The ability to take direction well and collaborate with a team is required.

Responsibilities:

•Assist the programming & development of multiple projects with direction from the Senior Developers
•Maintain and expand the Company's eCommerce, marketing, and backend production website capabilities
•Ensure all projects are delivered on time and to the highest possible standard; working additional hours may be required
•Provide accurate time estimates for work based on verbal and written technical briefs
•Prioritize and manage workload effectively
•Work both in isolation and as part of a team with minimal supervision
•Actively contribute to discussions and brainstorming sessions as requested

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•Strong Classic ASP skills
•Bachelor's degree preferred (Bachelor's degree in progress acceptable)
•Minimum 2 years of experience developing and maintaining websites
•Minimum 6 months of JavaScript experience, creating JS enabled applications
•Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, .Net, VB Script, Ajax and PHP
•Experience working with relational databases (SQL, MySQL)
•Self-starter with strong attention to detail
•High sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
•Experience and understanding of accounting and financial system a plus
