Job description
Lyzasoft, a Denver-based software company, is looking to hire someone with a passion for creating beautiful user interfaces and fluid user experiences. Qualified candidates will:
• Have developed commercially available desktop applications, ideally with Java Swing
• Be passionate about usability
• Demonstrate attention to detail
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
The candidate hired into this role will have both artistic talent and a solid programming background. Initial development activities will focus on data visualization and look-and-feel enhancements. This work involves:
• Creating, testing, and debugging native Java code using commonly available tools
• Working with designers to refine stories and clarify use cases
• Transforming requirements and mock-ups into functioning code
• Troubleshooting and optimizing a java application
