E-Learning Content Developer

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining various forms of e-learning content for a "who's who list" of Fortune 500 clients using HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript and work with leading edge e-Learning development tools and platforms.

• Work closely with the project management team to plan and execute the creation of custom e-learning modules
• Work directly with subject matter experts and instructional designers to compile all content into the best format while aligning with adult learning theory and principles
• Develop e-learning modules based on business requirements while staying within scope and budget
• Work directly with support team to troubleshoot and correct any potential issue tickets
• Document development projects to keep everyone abreast of what has been done and what needs to be done on each project.
• Test the product in controlled and real situations before going live.
• Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Review project and work flow processes to help improve profit on project and overall scope
• And all other tasks assigned

Do you have?

• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Must be able to effectively and comfortably communicate with all types of individuals
• General HTML 5 and CSS programming, design and debugging skills
• Knowledge of e-Learning Design and  Development Fundamentals
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to learn new tools/skills and adapt quickly

Thorough knowledge of the following technologies:

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, Flash)
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Flash (ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0)
• HTML 5 & CSS
• JavaScript
• SQL Databases (emphasis on basic queries)
• Windows desktop operating systems
• VPN and Remote Desktop
• Learning Management System functionality and administration
• Content Management System functionality
• Understanding of online training delivery standards (SCORM and AICC; xAPI a plus!)
