Your Tech Stack at TomTom
- For Big Data and high throughput in order to update our Maps we are using: Java, PostGres, Crunch, R, Spark, Hadoop
- For Machine Learning we are using: C++, Python and SLAM. We also use LiDAR, Radar and cameras for yielding large amount of data in our labelled maps-related databases
- For Driving Context we are using C++ in combination with geospatial information, DSP and Most Probable Path
- For our Routing Engine, calculating the quickest route on all sorts of devices and platforms, we are using C++.
In all cases we working according to the SAFe (Scrum - Agile) methodology. Everybody has the freedom to express new ideas during the daily stand-ups.
