Hibernate Blob.getBinaryStream

Question

i'm trying to get a blob-stream with hibernate

public InputStream getMediaData(MediaEntity media) throws SQLException{
    media = load(media.getID());
    DataBlob blob = media.getData();
    Blob blobData = blob.getData();
    return blobData.getBinaryStream();
}

but when calling "getBinaryStream" it throws
