i have this code in java, this code error, and this code from Driving distance and travel time duration between two locations in Google Map Android API V2 :

and error was in:

SupportMapFragment fm = (SupportMapFragment)getSupportFragmentManager().findFragmentById(R.id.map);

error information "The method getSupportFragmentManager() is undefined for the type MainActivity" please help me

I guess your MainActivity extends Activity instead of Fragment Activity.

Also you have

initilizeMap();

In that you have

googleMap = ((MapFragment) getFragmentManager().findFragmentById(
            R.id.map)).getMap();

While you have

SupportMapFragment fm = (SupportMapFragment)getSupportFragmentManager().findFragmentById(R.id.map);

    // Getting Map for the SupportMapFragment
googleMap = fm.getMap();

You are initializing map object twice. Once you use MapFragment and then you use SupportMapFragment.

To fix

Check your min sdk version in manifest. If it is below 11 extend FragmentActivity and use SupportMapFragment.

Secondly check for availability of google play services and there is no need to initialize the map object twice.

You should be missing import android.support.v4.app.FragmentManager;

You need to declare your import android.support.v4.app.FragmentManager;

Or you can create a member using:

private android.support.v4.app.FragmentManager ftManager;
