I am trying to use one to many and many to one relationship in modelling the relationship of student and teacher. When I try to persist teacher with students in android app, teacher and students are persisted but I get the following error. And then when I try to list all students I get the same error. it seems that problem arises when I use mappedBy in @OneToMany. I am using datastore as databse. Is there some restriction, that datastore does not support mappedBy, because it is not relational database?

Can anyone help me with this problem?

  • assuming this is the stack trace that you are seeing on the client side ? Can you tell me what is the error that you are seeing on the Server side ? Can you log into the Log Console (if deployed online) to see what the problem is. – Romin Jun 18 '14 at 13:04
  • Yes, you are right, that stack trace is from client; I updated the question and add there log from server; The warning came up with that error that datastore does not support joins; I am aware of this but in my opinion there must be some kind of support for one to many and many to one relationship or not? – mark Jun 19 '14 at 10:08
