# Testing if the matrix is a symmetric or skew-symmetric?

I'm doing my Laboratory exercise in Python. i made the code but i don't know how will i make a test if the matrix is a symmetric or skew-symmetric. The problems are: 1. Make a test if the matrix is symmetric or skew-symmetric. 2. How will I use assertion to be sure that the matrix is a square matrix? 3. Can someone make a recheck to my codes? Thanks!
