I'm running a Spark Streaming job with Spark version 1.4.1, Cassandra and Kafka.

The Job read events from a Kafka topic elaborate it and store to Cassandra table.

My Sample Job Class:

When Cassandra is busy or unreachable I get the following error:

I need to notify this problem to email. Which the best way is to catch the above exception?
