When I run the above code, I see the following output:

It appears that it's stuck on poller.poll(), per the output print statements.

How can I debug this behavior?

  • I replaced context.poller(2) with val poller = new Poller(2) (per deprecation warning), and then used a time-out when polling: poller.poll(1000 * 5) for 5 seconds. After the 5 seconds expired, the if(clientNbr == 0) evaluated to true, so the sys.exit(0) executed - and the program terminated. – Kevin Meredith Jul 25 '16 at 1:49
  • My observation is that the poller.poll() heard no responses when polling. And, I'm guessing that's because the single client's request was handled? – Kevin Meredith Jul 25 '16 at 1:51
