Android - Exception Error inflating class com.facebook.drawee.view.SimpleDraweeView

Question

I published my app in the Play Store, in my tests there was no error, but the report I receive from Firebase, is presenting some problems in my adapter, tracking error and the code:

You have to call Fresco.initialize(...). Only do this once in your custom Application class. See http://frescolib.org/docs/index.html for more information.

If this doesn't fix the problem, it could be that ProGuard is not set up correctly. How to set up ProGuard with Fresco: http://frescolib.org/docs/proguard.html

You will need to intialize com.facebook.drawee.view.SimpleDraweeView before setting the context view. You can achieve by writing Fresco.initialize(this)

If you initialized Fresco and still get an exception.

Check your build.gradle if it supports vector

vectorDrawables.useSupportLibrary = true

This happened to me, I noticed the crash appear after I supported vector images.

UPDATE 5/16/19

Please disregard my old answer, this was happening because I was initializing Fresco on my SplashActivity it is always best practice to initialize Fresco in Application class.
