My code is as follows:

And it looks aweful in ie7, All other browsers render it correct, but it seems that ie7 make row breaks at the spans, even though the spans are inline elements.. Ill add a picture so you can understand!

Your 'inner' span has a css property of float:right; - this is causing the line breaks in IE

the code below should work.

  • well its deffo the inner span float thats causing the issue, try removing all styles from it (the inner span), and working from there

Your row is breaking because of the "float:right;" CSS attribute you have on the span element. Possibly adding style="clear:both" to your TD flag will fix this
