I tried to deploy my war file in tomcat 8.5. but getting error as "There was an unexpected error (type=Not Found, status=404). No message available"

  • yes in application.properties its 9991 but that is when i run it from embalmed tomcat from eclipse. when i deploy the war in another external server its port is 9992. I can import it to jboss also and should work. Thats the reason we use boot to create services – RBuser2769569 Nov 14 '17 at 20:46
  • I see you've tried ViewResolver. But have you tried the WebMVC's addResourceHandlers and addViewControllers methods to make static content available on the web? – Praveen P Nov 14 '17 at 22:48
  • why you have two @SpringBootConfiguration annotated classes, one is Application.java and DutonRootConfig.java? – Amit K Bist Nov 14 '17 at 23:12
  • @ Amit K Bist: Application.java is a bootstrap class so has SpringBootApplication and DutonRootConfig.java is a configuration file has annotation of SpringBootConfigaration. both are different. – RBuser2769569 Nov 15 '17 at 13:48
