we've noticed since iOS 11 that our Healthkit-apps are not automatically updating steps in the background. It seems like the pushes are sent when the app is "paused", but not closed. (I tested this with opening the app, pushed some data, then closed it (hard closed it) and walked a bit. In 2hrs, steps were sent to the servers, then it died).

I have created a test-app which schedules local notifications everytime the app tries to send steps data. Have not received anything in 12hrs even though I have taken a bunch of steps.

Does anyone know if anything has changed with Healthkit and iOS 11, or with background mode or something? It was working fine with iOS 10.

We use the module; ti.healthkit (https://github.com/IMLemon/MyHealthApp/tree/master/modules/iphone/ti.healthkit/1.0.0)

I have no clue how to debug this really. If it didnt work at all, that would be one thing but since it works fine except in background..
