I am trying to send email using gmail API, my code in ruby went well without attachment like below:

successfully send email with html format, my question is how to attach file to this message ? some people suggest me to use add_file

I only received encoded string, but not attached file. My question is how to send email by Gmail API with attachment?

I think you are missing somethings with regard to the attacment
