I have a mosquittopp cklient working with this configuration (on port 8883 with SSL), so I my connection data is OK (user/pass/certificates etc) I'm trying with a modern qmqtt client (https://github.com/emqtt/qmqtt)

With test.mosquitto.org I cant connect using QSslConfiguration::defaultConfiguration() (with no extenal CA files!!) If I try to set local CA certificate https://test.mosquitto.org/ssl/mosquitto.org.crt I get this error: 21/22 SocketSslInternalError and SocketSslInvalidUserDataError

The same with azure and this cers (in a .crt file) https://github.com/Azure/azure-iot-sdk-c/blob/master/certs/certs.c

with MOSQUITTO certificate I get this output:

I can connect with my mosquitto client, but I need a more modern and Qt based client.

I tried a lot of combinations, and I only get SocketRemoteHostClosedError

Any idea?

  • in linux, just not add local certificates and works! maybe OS have all missing certificates. – M.A. Pons Feb 13 at 15:26
