Web3.js installation error on windows

Question

When i try to install web3.js i get this error:

My system config is:

windows 7

node: v6.11.0

npm: 3.10.10

Install web3 using following command to install the latest version of web3 (1.0.0-beta.34 currently).

npm install web3

Also --save tag is depreciated now, package will be added to dependency as a default. To not include a package in dependency use tag --no-save.

It seems like git error due to wrong npm package, try

npm install --save [email protected]

or new version

npm install --save [email protected]

you need to be installed windows-build-tools for Windows

npm install --global --production windows-build-tools

Solution ( Linux, Windown7 , Windows10 )

git download & install

https://git-scm.com/downloads

And then,

c:\NodeJs\node_ethereum>npm install web3 --save
