I am new to InfiniSpan and build a 2 node cluster for replication entries between this two nodes. On a developer machine with only one single node, it was perfectly, fast and stable. In my cluster environment on CentOS 7 with InfiniSpan 9.2.0 I use the default repl cache container to store my entries. During the normal usage with light cache activities, I get from time to time, but very often

Is this an big issue or (because not as error flagged) can be ignored. How it can be solved? It is an issue of the cache server configuration itself of from the cache connector from the webapplication that transfers the data?

But then, after a few minutes of running as cluster (in console I see sucessful joining and finished balancing) this entries come to the log and the application stopps working

I start the server with ./standalone.sh -c clustered.xml and inside the clustered.xml I have only changed the port offset and channel name. This is, because we have in the same network two other InfiniSpan clusters and they discover each other cross-linked, what is not the target. To isolate the 2 nodes, we use the port offset and unique channel name.

Can anybody help me to come closer to the issue? I have no idea.

  • There could be many reasons for the timeout. Have you checked GC logs? Have you tried getting a thread dump when the timeout is reported? You could also try to switch between using UDP or TCP stack and see if one works better than the other one... – Galder Zamarreño May 28 at 15:22
