I am new on three.js and i am learning lightning and shadowing in three.js .

I have sphere and plane in my scene . Plan is to receive shadow of sphere .

My sphere is of red colour . It seems the sphere is itself getting shadowed and not casting shadow .

I am not getting shadow on the plane.

In the output , the shadow is not present on plane . I guess there is self shadow of the sphere in it .

The plane mesh has to be set to receive shadows:
plane.receiveShadow = true;
