I have a websocket server on nodemcu v3(ESP8266) and a websocket client made in Qt. When a client disconnect, the server give exception 28 and i dont know why.

  • @Juraj i added in WebSocketEvent "Serial.printf("[%u] get Message: %s\r\n", num, payload);" and when a client connect in serial monitor is printed: "[0] get Message: / " – Ionut Dec 12 '18 at 19:31
  • num is a socket number I guess. if payload is not a zero terminated C-string you can't use print or printf with it. – Juraj Dec 12 '18 at 20:41
