I am having difficulty when working with 2 hosts in a netty client. What I am trying to do is, establish connection between 2 hosts as one main and backup. If my main connection gets disabled while sending message over the TCP, send message to backup hosts. For example;

I have 2 hosts. One of them is 10.50.60.30 and the other one is 10.50.60.57. My main host is 10.50.60.30 and backup is 10.50.60.57. When I find out a problem with 60.30, I want to swith to 60.57. But it still trying to send to broken main host.

I guess, the problem occurs in FalconClientHandler.class while initializing static ctx variable in channelActive() function. Should I use a list of ChannelHandlerContext which stores all connections. There isn't any exception occurs by the way. Its about logic
