I am writing one API where I have to start node server in newly created dynamic website & response should contain URL (IP address)+Port.
We are using this application in same LAN.
Please suggest me the best solution.

Currently I am trying to achieve this using node library http-server run through node child-process. But it having issue while stopping server, process not killed properly.

  • Do note that the port is something that your program determines so you can use the above question to figure out the IP and then use the port that your code knows of to send back the response. But I am not sure if you had thought of this basic question, how will some other piece of code call your http-server as it is dynamically run on a server.   • As per our requirement, we are creating dynamic site using nuxtjs. We have to run this dynamic site and want to send URL in response. Also we have to stop this execution by ruuning another API. – Avinash Jagtap Jan 21 '19 at 11:54
