I am trying to fake an interface in Scala. In my Spec, I desire to assign fakeHmGetResult to whatever the test requires.

In this line

Some(fakeHmgetResult)

you return Option[Map[Any, String]] but in method signature you promised Option[Map[K, V]].

  • Thanks Dmytro. I pasted in the working solution in the bottom of the original code... Map[String, String] plus the typecast in the last line of hmget() did the trick. – jasonnerothin Mar 19 at 18:55
