I have to do a counter about a card which is a element from a board, the problem is that this timer is about a component and when I close the card-dialog the counter not working, the idea is that continue counting and I can open another card and turn on the timer too. Only stop the timer when I click stop and save. Thanks.

  • A common technique for when you need some state to persist even when a component is unmounted, is to lift the state up and pass down state and state-altering function as props to the component in question instead. – Tholle Mar 25 at 10:56
  • Save timer data in redux store instead of component state, or do what @Tholle suggested – Vaibhav Vishal Mar 25 at 10:57
