My team have an application that uses the MobileDevice.framework and iDeviceFramework.framework on Mac to copy files onto an iOS device.

With iOS 13 beta we are getting a timeout when trying to read or write files to the device. The device details can be obtained but when we attempt to reach the sandbox for a specific app, to read/write it times out

The timeout error occurs when using the AFCFileRefOpen function. It happens when using all similar functions from the MobileDevice header file e.g. AFCFileRefRead, AFCFileRefWrite etc.

We tried testing some commercial tools (e.g. iExplorer) and noticed they have the same error shown in Console logs when using with an iOS 13 device.

We're using the following code as a sample to test it:
