The formly form has custom autocomplete input with custom formly validators. It supposes to automatically update the content of UI input field when the model: task.costObjectives is updated. It happens when the async callback is invoked. Currently, the field gets updated correctly every time except for the first attempt. How to make formly / angularjs to update the input value after the model is updated?

Another observation is that on first attempt (incorrect one) the input element has class ng-valid-parse that is absent in any further attempts.

UPDATE 1:

when following 2 lines added inside validator's expression it started working almost as expected:

scope.$apply();
scope.$applyAsync();

Currently, input has the correct value but marked as invalid.
