Failed to create nx workspace

Question

I am new in NX, and even new in NodeJS ecosystem. As I found interesting tool to scaffold full-stack application development, where is NX, then I gave a try. But I always failed in the first step in creating nx-workspace. Right not, I am using Node version 14.16 LTS, and npm version 6.14.11 on Windows Pro 64-bit. Here is the errors:

Anyone can help or give me a clue?

I am facing the same issue for resolving use below command for creating new workspace:-

npx create-nx-workspace --preset=angular --skip-git=true

I have also faced same issue while doing it first time. But later it worked. Please follow below things.

• Make sure you have node latest version
• Install angular cli [ npm install -g @angular/cli ]
• Install nrwl schematic [ npm install -g @nrwl/schematics ]

I followed these steps and it's working fine now.

I was able to fix it with

git config --global user.email "you@example.com"
git config --global user.name "Your Name"

After setting the email npx create-nx-workspace worked.

make sure you have working internet connection. in my case the proxy settings were broken
