I have been going through the chapter Rage Against The Finite State Machine of the tutorial, and it uses gen_fsm, which has been deprecated in favor of gen_statem. When running the tests I always get stuck because one of the clients are on the negotiate state and receives an accept_negotiate event. (Maybe there are other errors, but right now I cannot figure out why this is happening).

There were a few errors, you can run a diff on them to get the differences. You may see a few otp reports at the end of the transaction, but they are totally expected.

  • It is working fine now, thank you very much for the help. The only thing that is still not working are the returns under "% sus" comments that are generating crashes. I tried to deduce how to use them with the documentation but I probably got them wrong. Do you have any idea on how to correct them please? – sicro May 28 at 15:50
