hey everyone ive written the following code

except i get an error when i compile it in xcode any assistance will be utmost greatful

The Error i get is MAIN MUST RETURN "int"

From ISO/IEC 14882:2003(E) - 3.6.1

An implementation shall not predefine the main function. This function shall not be overloaded. It shall have a return type of type int, but otherwise its type is implementation-defined. All implementations shall allow both of the following definitions of main:

int main() { /* ... */ } and

int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { /* ... */ }

Also there is no need to include .h for a standard header file.

#include <iostream> // is sufficient

void main is not standard.

You must return an int.

int main() is better
